Within her newest body of work, Anna Uddenberg reflects the paradoxes of modern luxury and the superficial allure of exclusivity. The term "premium economy" itself suggests a middle ground between luxury and economy, hinting at the aspirational yet often unattainable nature of contemporary consumer desires. Premium Economy V, 2024 interrogates the idea of the "performative body," where identity and self-presentation are continuously curated and manipulated to fit social norms.
